About Oror
Օրոր is the word for a lullaby in Armenian. It is what a grandmother sings over a cradle — and the feeling we want the app to have.
Why we are making it
Parents juggle a dozen apps and chats: one for tracking the baby, a messenger group for kindergarten, a social network for photos, a marketplace for selling a stroller. Many of them make money from attention and data.
Oror puts the important things in one place, speaks your language properly, and treats your child’s information as private by default.
What we believe
- A child is not content. Nothing about your child is public.
- Less is better: a short card, one story, a few photos. No endless feed.
- No comparison between children. Every child has their own pace.
- Your language, done properly: grammar, names, stories.
- A real person checks everything children see.
Who we are
A small team of parents, developers and editors whose families live in different countries — which is why Oror works in three languages and helps grandparents far away stay close.
