A development guide that moves with your child

Each card is short enough to read while the baby naps. It says what is likely changing now, suggests two or three games with things you already have at home, and lists what to watch for.

Development guide

Corrected age for babies born early

If your baby was born before 37 weeks, add the due date and Oror counts the corrected age, the way paediatricians do. The guide then shows the cards that fit where your baby really is, not the calendar.

Activities you can tick

Every card has a few activities and milestones. Tick the ones you tried; the other parent sees the ticks too. It is a memory aid, not a test: there are no scores and no comparisons with other children.

Look ahead or go back

Swipe to the next week to see what is coming, or back to re-read something. Week 0 starts on the day of birth; after the first birthday the cards become monthly.

Written carefully

Every card is written and reviewed by our team before it is published. The guide gives general information about typical development. It does not diagnose and does not replace your paediatrician.

Questions

Is the guide free?

Yes. The development guide is free for every family.

My baby does not do what the card says yet. Should I worry?

Children reach milestones at different times, often weeks apart. Each card says which signs are worth raising with your paediatrician. If something worries you, ask a doctor — that is always the right call.
