Account, security and privacy

Your photo, two-step sign-in, downloading your data and deleting your account.

Your profile

  1. In Profile, tap your photo to take a new one, choose one from the library, view it or remove it.
  2. Use a photo of yourself: other parents see it next to your listings and chats.

Two-step sign-in

  1. Go to Profile → Settings → Security → Two-step sign-in.
  2. On the same phone, tap Set up on this phone: your Passwords app, Google Authenticator or 1Password opens and saves Oror. Or copy the setup key, or scan the QR code from another device.
  3. Type the 6-digit code it shows to turn two-step sign-in on.
  4. Save the 10 backup codes somewhere safe. Each works once if you lose your phone.
  5. From then on, every sign-in asks for a code from the app after the email code, Apple or Google.

Download your data

  1. Profile → Settings → Your data → Download my data, or the Your account page on oror.party.
  2. You get a ZIP with every record (as data.json) and all the photos, in folders by child.

Delete your account

  1. Profile → Settings → Your data → Delete my account, or the Your account page on oror.party.
  2. If you own a family and another parent is in it, choose whether to hand the family over to them or delete it.
  3. Deletion is immediate and permanent. Download a copy first if you want one.
