The Turnip

In the app, your child’s name stands where you see “Ani”.
Grandpa planted a turnip. It grew and grew — very big and very sweet.
Grandpa pulled and pulled, but he couldn’t pull it up. He called Grandma. Grandma held Grandpa, Grandpa held the turnip — they pulled and pulled, but couldn’t pull it up.
They called the granddaughter, then the dog, then the cat. They all pulled together — and the turnip still sat in the ground.
At last a tiny mouse came running. Mouse held cat, cat held dog, dog held granddaughter, granddaughter held Grandma, Grandma held Grandpa, Grandpa held the turnip… and pop — out it came!
That evening they all shared warm soup. Even the smallest one matters. Good night, Ani.
A Russian folk tale, retold by Oror.
